As a store, you want to know which employees are available to take on specific responsibilities, such as opening the store in the morning, closing it in the evening or carrying out First Aid (BHV) duties.
Before you can assign responsibilities to employees, you must first configure the time slots for each responsibility.
Step 1: Set time slots for each responsibility
Go to Organisation > Responsibilities.
For each responsibility, enter the time slot during which it applies. For example:
- Keyholder closing: from 19:45 to 20:15.
- First Aider (BHV): all day.
These time slots are important when assigning responsibilities and when using the 'Automatic schedule ' tool. This allows the automatic scheduler to take into account when specific responsibilities need to be covered and which employees can be scheduled to fulfil them.
Employee information > Employee data > Responsibilities.
Step 2: Assign responsibilities to employees
Once the time slots have been configured, you can assign responsibilities to employees.
You can do this via the employee information.
On the employee profile, you will find the Responsibilities field. By clicking the plus icon, you can select and assign the appropriate responsibilities to each employee.
Please note: The available responsibilities may vary depending on the retail formula.
Step 3: Check whether responsibilities have been assigned
The Schedule – Responsibilities (R05) report provides an overview of when specific responsibilities have or have not been assigned.
